The transparent film dressing for safe wound protection

MDR: Hydrofilm is a sterile, self-adhesive transparent wound dressing for protection against bacterial penetration, external contaminants and mechanical irritation of dry or only slightly exuding, primary healing wounds, for almost healed epithelizing wounds as well as securing of wound dressings, catheters and cannulas. Where to use:
• Ideal for dry or slightly exuding wounds.
• Can be used for securing dressings, catheters and cannulas.
How to apply:
• Clean and dry the wound area per protocol prior to application.
• Select the appropriate dressing size according to the wound. Note that dressing can be cut to size if necessary.
• Dressing is protected by four covers, numbered 1 – 4 in order of application.
• Slightly remove protective covers 1 and 2 and place the adhesive side on the wound.
• Fully remove protective covers 1 and 2 and gently press the entire film onto the skin.
• Remove protective cover 3 and then 4 and gently press the dressing to the skin.
How to remove:
Dressing can be removed almost painlessly by overstretching the material.
• Loosen an edge and carefully take off the dressing by overstretching the material.
